In primary schools we can find students who have problems with visual observation and because of that they get tired during reading, they are insecure while walking, they cannot copy from the blackboard, while looking at something they get closer to it, they often rub their eyes, they nictate, they have eyes and head tics, they have incorrect body posture, they do not differentiate colours... some visual impairments are successfully corrected by wearing glasses. Perceptual skills, with te help of professional stimulation, can contribute a lot to reduce difficulties that students with visual impairments have. The main purpose of this work was to indicate the importance of stimulation of visual perception and visual-motor coordination in students from two regular primary schools in the area of Tuzla Municipality. Thirty students with visual impairments without correction and with the biggest number of undone given tasks regarding drawing shapes, were the sample. The research showed positive effects in students with visual impairments, who had regular exercises of visual stimulation in the final measuring. Apart from that, it emphasises the need of an educator-rehabilitator in regular primary schools, as a professional who is going to deal with important issues for successful and high-quality upbringing and education of the students with visual perception and visual-motor coordination impairments.
