Research in Education and Rehabilitation (RER) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of research in education, rehabilitation, and related interdisciplinary fields.

The journal aims to promote high-quality theoretical, empirical, and applied research that contributes to the understanding, assessment, education, rehabilitation, inclusion, and quality of life of children, adolescents, adults, and older persons with disabilities, developmental difficulties, and other support needs.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to:

• special and inclusive education;
• rehabilitation sciences;
• intellectual and developmental disabilities;
• motor disorders and chronic conditions;
• visual and hearing impairments;
• speech, language, and communication disorders;
• behavioral and emotional disorders;
• autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental conditions;
• assistive technology and accessibility;
• early intervention;
• assessment, intervention, and evidence-based rehabilitation practices;
• psychosocial rehabilitation and social inclusion;
• educational, psychological, social, and health-related aspects of disability and rehabilitation;
• quality of life, participation, and support for persons with disabilities and their families;
• interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches relevant to education and rehabilitation.

RER welcomes original research articles, review articles, brief reports, case reports, editorials, and letters to the editor that fall within the journal's aims and scope.

The journal encourages submissions from researchers and professionals from different countries and disciplines and particularly welcomes interdisciplinary and international research that advances knowledge, policy, and evidence-based practice in education and rehabilitation.
